HIKROBOT MV-CH650-90TM-F-NF — Area Scan Cameras
65 MP, Gpixel GMAX3265, 10GigE, Mono, 17.2 fps

The MV-CH650-90TM-F-NF is a 65 MP monochrome area scan camera in the 10GigE branch of the high-resolution CH series. Its Gpixel GMAX3265 global shutter CMOS sensor spreads 9344 × 7000 pixels of 3.2 μm × 3.2 μm across a 29.9 mm × 22.4 mm imaging area, and the 40 dB SNR together with 66 dB dynamic range keeps grey-level data clean even at this pixel density. Running at 17.2 fps in Mono 8 at full resolution, this fan-cooled F-mount model is listed by HIKROBOT as being in delisting preparation, so it is best considered where continuity with existing installations matters.
The data interface is 10 Gigabit Ethernet with backward compatibility to 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet; according to the manufacturer the 10GigE link covers up to 100 m without a relay. A 12-pin P10 connector carries both the 9–24 VDC supply and the I/O set: one opto-isolated input (Line 0), one opto-isolated output (Line 1), one bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2) and an RS-232 port. The fan-cooled F-mount housing measures 74 mm × 74 mm × 84.8 mm and weighs about 600 g; typical draw is 10.2 W at 12 VDC, and the camera works with third-party software built on GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam.

Where it is used
65 MP resolution pays off wherever a large field must be captured in one frame at micron-level detail: inspection of large PCBs and panel surfaces, defect detection on glass and display panels, dimensional measurement of wide-format parts. The 17.2 fps rate is sufficient for stationary or indexed stations, and the global shutter also captures parts on a moving conveyor without geometric distortion. The monochrome design is the natural choice for contrast-based measurement and surface analysis where colour information is not needed.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
