The MV-CH050-60NC is the color 5 MP camera in the 2.5 GigE branch of the CH series, using the Stacked BSI global shutter CMOS sensor with a Bayer GR color array. The 2/3″ sensor with 3.45 μm pixels delivers 60 fps in Bayer GR 8 at 2448 × 2048, and its 44.1 dB SNR and 69.6 dB dynamic range apply to color imaging as well. Besides raw Bayer 8/10/12 output, YUV422, RGB 8 and BGR 8 formats can be generated inside the camera, and CCM (color correction matrix) and white balance can be set automatically or manually.
The Ethernet link runs at 2500 Mbit/s, is compatible with 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit networks and supports 100 meters without a relay; the extra data volume of RGB 8 output is handled by this bandwidth. It can be powered over PoE on a single cable or take 9–24 VDC through the 6-pin P7 connector, with the color model drawing a typical 3.7 W at 12 VDC. The P7 connector also provides Line 0 as an opto-isolated input, Line 1 as an opto-isolated output and Line 2 as a bi-directional non-isolated line. The 29 × 29 × 42 mm IP40 body of about 100 g mounts from four sides and operates from -10 °C to 45 °C; it complies with GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam and supports HDR and Super Palette.

Where it is used
Pairing color imaging with long cable reach offers a practical solution for packaging color control across large plants, grading of agricultural produce by ripeness and color, and material separation on recycling lines. High SNR and CCM support help measure subtle hue differences reliably on pharmaceutical blisters and cosmetic products, and 60 fps covers medium-speed sorting and label verification.
