The M58-mount version of the CH series CXP-12 color camera, the MV-CH250-90YC-M58S-NN reads its 5120 × 5120 pixel Gpixel GMAX0505 global-shutter CMOS sensor at 150 fps in Bayer BG 8. The 2.5 μm × 2.5 μm pixel size and 1.1″ sensor format are matched by an M58*0.75 thread with an 11.48 mm flange back, suited to using the full field of lenses with a large image circle. 36 dB SNR, 63 dB dynamic range and 3–8 μs UltraShort exposure preserve color detail on fast lines.
The fanless M58 body of about 285 g measures 60 mm × 60 mm × 59 mm and can be equipped with optional cooling fins. The CoaXPress connection is established at CXP-12 speed over micro-BNC connectors; the CXP-0 and CXP-1 links can deliver power via PoCXP, while external supply is 12–24 VDC with typical consumption of 10 W at 12 VDC. Triggering and communication go through the 12-pin P10 connector: opto-isolated input and output, a bi-directional non-isolated line and RS-232. The camera works with software based on the CoaXPress protocol and GenICam standard and carries CE, RoHS, KC and UL certifications.

Where it is used
It is intended for applications that must image a wide area in color and at speed: surface-pattern and color grading in ceramic tile and wood panel production, verification of color-coded components and silkscreen on wide PCB panels, and print defect detection on decorative foil or laminate lines. The 150 fps frame rate and 25 MP color image allow such wide products to be inspected in a single pass without stopping.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
