The MV-CH250-60TM-M58S-NF is a fan-cooled, M58-mount model in the 10GigE branch of the CH series that provides 5120 × 5120 (25 MP) monochrome imaging at 31.7 fps. The 4.5 μm pixels of its 23 × 23 mm global shutter CMOS sensor give 40 dB SNR and 66 dB dynamic range; gain is adjustable from 0 to 15.6 dB and exposure from 15 μs to 10 s. The 66 dB dynamic range helps preserve detail in scenes with strong brightness differences at this resolution class.
The 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface is compatible with GigE and supports cable lengths up to 100 metres. The 12-pin P10 connector provides 12–24 VDC power (typically 15.1 W at 12 VDC), an opto-isolated input (Line 0) and output (Line 1), a bi-directional line (Line 2) and RS-232. Exposure is adjustable automatically or manually; gain, Gamma correction and LUT manually; Mono 8/10/10Packed/12/12Packed formats are supported. The 74 × 74 × 78.8 mm, roughly 550 g IP40 body (11.48 mm flange back length) mounts flexibly via holes on its panels and complies with GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam.

Where it is used
It is used in 25 MP inspections where high dynamic range matters: assembly lines where shiny metal and matte plastic components are checked in the same frame, wide-area surface inspection, and triggered dimensional measurement of large parts. 31.7 fps suits stationary or medium-speed stations, and the 10GigE link permits long-distance installations over network infrastructure.
