The MV-CH250-25TM-M58S-NF is the monochrome, M58-mount member of the PYTHON25K-based 25 MP family that runs over 10GigE. Its OnSemi PYTHON25K global shutter CMOS sensor transmits 5120 × 5120 at 40 fps in Mono 8, complemented by 4.5 μm pixels, 41 dB SNR, 58 dB dynamic range, 0–15 dB gain and 45 μs to 10 s exposure. Mono 8/10/10Packed/12/12Packed formats let bit depth be balanced against bandwidth.
The 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface reaches up to 100 metres without a relay and remains compatible with Gigabit Ethernet. The 12-pin P10 connector supplies 9–24 VDC power (typically 11.5 W at 24 VDC), an opto-isolated input and output, a bi-directional line and RS-232. Gain and exposure are adjustable automatically or manually, LUT and Gamma correction manually. The fan-equipped M58 body measures 74 × 74 × 72.7 mm and weighs about 550 g (11.48 mm flange back length), is IP40 rated, and GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam compliance ensure operation with protocol-based third-party software.

Where it is used
It suits plants that want to carry 25 MP images at 40 fps over Ethernet infrastructure: high-accuracy measurement of large parts, wide-format PCB and panel inspection, and surface checks in large machine layouts that require long cable runs. The square format uses the field of view efficiently on round and symmetrical parts, and the 100 m cable reach allows the camera to be placed far from the processing computer.
