HIKROBOT MV-CH240-10YM-C-NN — Area Scan Cameras

The MV-CH240-10YM-C-NN couples the Sony IMX935 global shutter CMOS sensor with a 4-link CXP-12 interface to deliver 5312 × 4608 (24 MP) monochrome images at 191.7 fps. Its 2.74 μm pixels on a 1.2-inch sensor offer 39.4 dB SNR and 61.7 dB dynamic range; a wide 0–42 dB gain range and exposure from 22 μs to 10 seconds adapt to lighting conditions. Within the CoaXPress branch of the CH series it packs this into a compact C-mount body of 60 × 60 × 56.5 mm and about 255 g.

Data travels over four CoaXPress CXP-12 links through Micro-BNC connectors; with PoCXP on CXP-0 and CXP-1 the camera can be powered over the coax, and a 9–24 VDC input is also provided (typically 11 W at 12 VDC). The 12-pin P10 connector offers an opto-isolated input (Line 0), an opto-isolated output (Line 1), a bi-directional line (Line 2) and RS-232. The fanless design targets stable capture at low power draw; the IP40 C-mount body is specified for 0–40 °C operation and works with CoaXPress and GenICam-based third-party software.

24 MP at 191.7 fps fits lines that demand high resolution and high speed at once: rapid multi-point inspection in electronics assembly, measurement of large parts in motion, and surface defect analysis on fast production lines. The small body eases placement on a robot arm or inside tight machine enclosures, and the wide gain range helps keep exposures short in low-light setups.
