HIKROBOT MV-CH160-60GM — Area Scan Cameras
16 MP, 1.1″ CMOS, GigE, Mono, 7.25 fps

The MV-CH160-60GM is a 16 MP monochrome GigE camera in the high-resolution CH series, built around a 1.1-inch global shutter CMOS sensor with a square 4000 × 4000 array. Its 3.2 μm pixels deliver 38 dB SNR and 65 dB dynamic range at up to 7.25 fps at full resolution, with gain adjustable from 6 dB to 14 dB and exposure from 12 μs to 10 seconds.
The Gigabit Ethernet link runs up to 100 metres without a repeater and also works on Fast Ethernet (100 Mbit/s) networks. A 6-pin P7 connector carries power and I/O: one opto-isolated input (Line 0), one opto-isolated output (Line 1) and one bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2); power comes from 9–26 VDC or PoE, at a typical 3.72 W at 12 VDC. The C-mount housing measures 29 × 44 × 59 mm, weighs about 100 g and has mounting holes on both its top and bottom panels; GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam compliance keep it compatible with third-party software.

Key features
- Resolution of 4000 × 4000, pixel size of 3.2 µm × 3.2 µm.
- Adopts GigE interface and max. transmission distance of 100 meters without relay.
- Easy and flexible installation, with mounting holes on both its top and bottom panels.
- Compatible with GigE Vision V2.0 Protocol, GenICam Standard, and third-party software based on the protocol and standard.
Where it is used
The square 16 MP format suits tasks where a large field must be captured in a single frame with fine detail: dimensional measurement of large parts, PCB and electronics assembly inspection, and defect detection on panels or sheet material. At 7.25 fps it is intended for stations where the part is stationary or triggered capture is used; PoE and the small body simplify deployment on existing GigE infrastructure.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
