The color V2.0 release of the Stacked BSI CoaXPress camera, the MV-CH120-60Y1C-NN V2 delivers 80 fps in Bayer GB 8/10/12 at 4096 × 3072 from a 1.1-inch global shutter CMOS. For color imaging it brings together 43.9 dB SNR, 54.4 dB dynamic range and a 0 dB to 24 dB gain span, while the 3.45 μm × 3.45 μm pixel size preserves fine detail. Running over a single CXP-12 link, this camera strikes a low-power (typically 3 W at 12 VDC) balance between color and high speed within the CH family.
The camera attaches through a CoaXPress line with Micro-BNC connector and can be powered via PoCXP; if external power is preferred the 12 VDC to 24 VDC input is used. Trigger and status signals pass through the 6-pin P7 connector: Line 0 opto-isolated input, Line 1 opto-isolated output, Line 2 bi-directional non-isolated line. The fanless C-mount body of 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm weighs about 90 g, carries IP40 protection and operates between 0 °C and 50 °C. Support for the CoaXPress protocol and GenICam standard allows direct use in third-party software built on those standards.

Where it is used
Lines where print color, cap/label matching and fill checks on cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food packaging are performed at high speed benefit from 80 fps 12 MP color imaging. The high SNR helps in textile and leather surface grading where color differences on matte and dark surfaces must be distinguished from noise. The small, low-power body makes it easy to add further color stations to an existing CoaXPress infrastructure.
