When speed and color are needed at once, the MV-CH120-60UC runs the Bayer GB version of the 1.1-inch Stacked BSI global shutter sensor over USB 3.0 at 30.7 fps in 4096 × 3000. Its 44.2 dB SNR and 67.5 dB dynamic range keep subtle hues separable even in low light, and the 3.45 μm pixels with exposure down to 45 μs hold moving colored objects sharp. Within the CH series it is the USB3.0 option that combines color imaging with 12 MP resolution and a high frame rate.
The color version draws a typical 2.4 W at 5 VDC from the USB 3.0 port; the P7 connector offers 9–24 VDC external supply along with one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bi-directional non-isolated line. Alongside raw Bayer GB 8/10/12, YUV422 and RGB 8 / BGR 8 formats can be selected, with white balance, CCM, Super Bayer and Super Palette running in the camera. The 29 × 29 × 30 mm, 80 g body mounts from four sides, works from –10 °C to 50 °C, is rated IP40, and USB3 Vision / GenICam compliance secures standard software support.

Where it is used
Color print and label inspection on fast lines, such as verifying the color and position of date/lot stamps on food packaging, can run in 12 MP color at 30.7 fps. In electronics assembly, polarity and value checks of color-coded parts like capacitors and LEDs need both resolution and color, which points to this model. Inline classification of color-striped products in cable and hose manufacturing is a comparable use.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
