For Ethernet-based systems that need a wide field in color at high resolution, the MV-CH120-60GC offers the 1.1-inch Stacked BSI global shutter sensor with a Bayer GB color array. It runs at 9.5 fps at 4096 × 3000, and its 44.1 dB SNR and 67.2 dB dynamic range keep color channels separated in shadows and highlights alike. White balance, CCM, Super Palette and Super Bayer are handled inside the camera, so color fidelity can be tuned without pushing the work onto the host.
Besides raw Bayer GB 8/10/12 the camera can output YUV422 and RGB 8 / BGR 8, and the choice comes down to balancing Gigabit Ethernet bandwidth against host processing. Power arrives over PoE or as 9–24 VDC at the P7 connector, with a typical 2.2 W draw at 12 VDC; the same connector holds one isolated input, one isolated output and one bi-directional line ready for triggering and strobe control. The 100 g, 29 × 29 × 42 mm body has mounting holes on four faces; gain spans 0–12 dB and exposure 10 μs–10 s, both adjustable automatically or manually, and GigE Vision V2.0 / GenICam compliance keeps software integration on standard ground.

Where it is used
In color and print-quality checks on printed sheets and folding-carton blanks, seeing the whole sheet in one 12 MP color frame is a real advantage. It fits wide-area color tasks such as label, color-code and variant verification on cosmetic and pharmaceutical cartons, or pattern matching on furniture and laminate panels. Given the modest frame rate, it performs best at stationary stations or on slow conveyors.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
