The MV-CH120-15TM-M58S-NF is a 12 MP monochrome camera in the 10GigE branch of the CH series, driving the 1.1″ Sony® IMX253 global shutter CMOS sensor to 68.3 fps at 4096 × 3000, well above the rates of the family’s USB 3.0 and GigE members. It combines 3.45 μm pixels, 39.7 dB SNR, 71.6 dB dynamic range and UltraShort exposure from 2 μs. The M58 × 0.75 lens mount with 11.48 mm flange back is intended for pairing with large-format optics.
The 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface is backward compatible with Gigabit Ethernet, and the manufacturer specifies a transmission distance of up to 100 meters. A 12-pin P10 connector carries the 9–24 VDC supply along with an opto-isolated input (Line 0), an opto-isolated output (Line 1), a bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2) and one RS-232 port; typical consumption is 9.6 W at 24 VDC. The 74 × 74 × 72.4 mm, approximately 550 g IP40 housing has panel mounting holes and works with GigE Vision V2.0 / GenICam-based software.

Where it is used
Twelve megapixels at 68.3 fps targets high-resolution inspection on continuously moving lines: defect scanning on display and glass panels, fast AOI across large PCB panels, and geometry checks on high-speed cutting or stamping machines. The long cable reach makes it easy to place the camera on the line, away from the control cabinet. The RS-232 port adds a serial channel for installations that need one.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
