HIKROBOT MV-CH120-10CC — Area Scan Cameras
12 MP, Sony IMX253, Camera Link, Color, 51.4 fps

Aimed at color production lines that want 12 MP at speed, the MV-CH120-10CC streams the Sony® IMX253 sensor in Bayer RG 8 at 51.4 fps at 4096 × 3000 in Base/Medium/Full configuration and 68.1 fps at 3840 × 3000 in 80-bit mode, with RGB 8 output also available in-camera. Global shutter, 39.7 dB SNR and 71.6 dB dynamic range limit blur and noise on fast-passing colored objects. Within the CH family, this frame rate is reachable only with the Camera Link members.
The camera connects to a frame grabber through Camera Link with an SDR connector; Base, Medium, Full and 80-bit modes are supported and the trigger signal can also be delivered via the frame grabber. A 9–24 VDC supply is required, with typical consumption of 4.5 W at 12 VDC. The 6-pin P7 connector offers one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bi-directional line; gain, exposure, LUT and Gamma are set automatically or manually, ROI and reversal are handled in-camera, and the 44 × 29 × 59 mm IP30 body follows Camera Link V2.0 / GenICam.

Where it is used
Anything that is both fast and colorful falls within this camera’s scope: color register control on high-speed printing and labeling lines, color-based separation in food and fruit grading machines, and color uniformity plus pixel defect inspection in display panel manufacturing. The wide 12 MP field lets a single camera span the full conveyor width, and frame-grabber synchronization secures timing in multi-camera color measurement stations.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
