MV-CH1010-10CM-M72-TF is the highest pixel-count Camera Link camera in the CH series, built on a Sony IMX461 rolling-shutter sensor in the 55 mm optical format with 11648 × 8740 resolution. Its 3.76 μm pixels deliver 45 dB SNR and a 78 dB dynamic range, while the frame rate is 8.1 fps in Mono 8. The 16-bit ADC mode, with pixel formats up to Mono 8/10/12/16, provides high-precision sampling; gain spans 0–36 dB and exposure 14 μs to 10 s.

The Camera Link SDR interface supports Base, Medium, Full and 80-bit configuration modes, with additional I/O over the CC1–CC4 lines. The 12-pin P10 connector carries opto-isolated input/output, one bidirectional line and RS-232. The camera is offered in two housings — fan-cooled (90 × 90 × 71.5 mm, ~790 g, 12–24 VDC, typ. 14 W) and TEC-cooled (100 × 100 × 87.2 mm, ~1.7 kg, 24 VDC, typ. 48 W with cooling on) — and the M72×0.75 lens mount has a 19.55 mm flange distance. Camera Link V2.0 and GenICam compliance let it work with frame grabber software that meets the GenICam protocol.

Key features

  • Supports auto or manual adjustment of gain and exposure time, and manual adjustment of LUT and Gamma correction.
  • Supports FFC correction function.
  • Provides camera with fan or TEC to meet different working temperature requirements.
  • Supports 16-bit ADC output with high acquisition accuracy and wide dynamic range.
  • Supports configuration modes of Base, Medium, Full and 80-bit via the Camera Link interface.
  • Compatible with Camera Link V2.0 Protocol, GenICam Standard, and the frame grabber software meeting with GenICam Protocol.

Where it is used

The 101-megapixel detail and wide dynamic range allow tiny defects to be captured in a single frame on solar panels and large-format displays; the TEC housing keeps sensor heating limited during long exposures, giving consistency in static-scene measurement. The Camera Link interface eases integration on lines that already have frame-grabber infrastructure.

Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
