HIKROBOT MV-CH089-10UC — Area Scan Cameras

For color inspection close to the host PC, the MV-CH089-10UC combines a 1-inch Sony IMX267 global-shutter sensor (4096 × 2160, 3.45 μm pixels) with a USB 3.0 interface running at 32 fps in Bayer GR 8. Output formats extend to YUV422, RGB 8 and BGR 8 in addition to Bayer RG 8/10/12, and image quality is rated at 40.1 dB SNR and 72.5 dB dynamic range. Like the other IMX267 models on this sheet, it is flagged by HIKROBOT as being in delisting preparation.
A single USB 3.0 cable, secured by M2 screw holes on the camera, carries both data and power (typ. 3.27 W at 5 VDC); a 12 VDC input is also provided and USB 2.0 fallback exists. Triggering uses the 6-pin Hirose connector with opto-isolated input Line 0, opto-isolated output Line 1 and non-isolated bi-directional Line 2, alongside software trigger and free run. Auto/manual gain and exposure, LUT and Gamma correction are handled in-camera, and the IP30-rated 44 × 29 × 59 mm body works with USB3 Vision- and GenICam-based software.

Where it is used
Delivering ready-made RGB or YUV frames at 32 fps makes this camera convenient for color-critical bench and cell applications: verifying printed color and text on packaging samples, inspecting garment or leather panels, and checking assembled electronics for missing or wrong-colored components. With 4096 pixels across, one image can span a full-width panel or a row of parts, and the UltraShort exposure mode handles strobed capture of moving samples.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
