HIKROBOT MV-CH089-10GC — Area Scan Cameras

Color counterpart to the 8.9 MP GigE mono model, the MV-CH089-10GC captures 4096 × 2160 frames at 13.7 fps in Bayer RG 8 from a 1-inch Sony IMX267 global-shutter sensor (3.45 μm pixels). Beyond raw Bayer, it can deliver YUV422, RGB 8 and BGR 8 directly, and supports the Super Bayer and Super Palette color functions; SNR is 39.8 dB with 70.8 dB dynamic range and 0–24 dB gain. Note that HIKROBOT has marked this V4 model as being in delisting preparation.
Wiring is a single GigE cable for up to 100 meters, with PoE or 9–24 VDC on the P7 connector. The three I/O lines (opto-isolated input Line 0, opto-isolated output Line 1, non-isolated bi-directional Line 2) support hardware triggering, and software trigger and free run are also available. The Sequencer, LSC and passive transmission functions, together with GigE Vision 2.0 and GenICam compliance, cover most integration needs; the fanless 29 × 29 × 42 mm body draws 2.4 W typical and mounts from four sides.

Where it is used
Its wide 4096 × 2160 color frame suits inspection of large printed sheets, textile and flooring patterns, and multi-lane packaging lines where one camera covers several tracks. Delivering RGB 8 or YUV directly reduces host-side processing for color classification of produce, tiles or wood, and the UltraShort 1–14 μs mode helps freeze motion on strobed lines. Frame rate is moderate, so it fits stations that index or run at conveyor speeds rather than very fast sorting.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
