The MV-CH050-90Y1M-NN is the 5 MP monochrome camera in the CoaXPress branch of the CH series that fits a single-link CXP-12 interface into a compact 29 × 29 mm cross-section body. Its Gpixel GMAX3405 global shutter CMOS sensor is 2/3″ in size, delivers 2448 × 2048 from 3.4 μm × 3.4 μm pixels and reaches 164 fps in Mono 8. It offers 39.3 dB SNR and 59.7 dB dynamic range; gain is kept in a narrow 0–6.1 dB band, and exposure can be shortened to 2 μs or extended to 10 s.
The CoaXPress interface with Micro-BNC connector moves data at CXP-12 speed over a single coaxial line; PoCXP support lets that same cable power the camera, or a 9–24 VDC external supply can be used (typically 3.3 W at 12 VDC). For I/O, the 6-pin P7 connector provides an opto-isolated input (Line 0), an opto-isolated output (Line 1) and a bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2). The fanless IP40 C-mount body measures 29 × 29 × 42 mm, weighs about 90 g and operates from -10 °C to 50 °C; CoaXPress and GenICam compliance allows use with third-party software based on those standards, and Off, Once and Continuous exposure modes are supported.

Where it is used
Combining a small body with high bandwidth suits semiconductor and electronics assembly inspection that needs 5 MP at 164 fps in space-constrained in-machine installations. Exposure down to 2 μs with a global shutter enables sharp capture of parts rotating or vibrating at high speed, such as fast pick-and-place heads or spinning discs, and the single coaxial cable reduces cabling load on multi-axis motion systems.
