For applications that need color at CoaXPress speed, the MV-CH050-90Y1C-NN pairs the 2/3-inch Gpixel GMAX3405 global-shutter sensor (2448 × 2048, 3.4 μm pixels) with a single-link CXP-12 output and delivers 164 fps in Bayer GB 8 format. Within the CH series this is the color variant of the fanless 5 MP CoaXPress body; measured SNR is 39.2 dB with 59.3 dB dynamic range, and Bayer GB 8/10/12 pixel formats are available for downstream demosaicing. Operating temperature spans –10 °C to 50 °C, and typical draw is 3.5 W at 12 VDC.
Connection is through a Micro-BNC CoaXPress port with PoCXP, meaning a single coaxial cable to a CXP-12 frame grabber can supply both data and power; a 9–24 VDC input on the P7 connector is the alternative. That same 6-pin connector carries Line 0 (opto-isolated input), Line 1 (opto-isolated output) and Line 2 (non-isolated bi-directional I/O). Exposure modes Off, Once and Continuous are supported, the 29 × 29 × 42 mm housing has no fan and weighs roughly 90 g, and CoaXPress/GenICam compliance keeps it open to third-party software.

Where it is used
Color data at 164 fps is valuable where hue itself is the inspection criterion and parts move fast: verifying printed packaging and labels, checking component color codes on assembly lines, and sorting food, pharmaceutical or plastic items by shade. The global shutter keeps color edges clean on moving product, and 5 MP resolution gives enough detail for legibility checks on small print or multi-color registration on printed material.
