Pushing 5472 × 3648 Bayer GB 8 frames over USB3.0 at 19.2 per second, the MV-CS200-10UC is the 20 MP color USB member of the CS series small and medium resolution family and is designated ‘2nd Gen.’ by the manufacturer. At its core is the 1-inch Sony® IMX183 rolling-shutter CMOS with 2.4 μm × 2.4 μm pixels; 41.5 dB SNR, 65.5 dB dynamic range and 0 to 24 dB gain keep noise and saturation balanced in the color image. The official feature list stresses the new low-power design and the sensor’s high sensitivity and low noise; exposure spans 44 μs to 0.83 s.
Output options are broad: raw Bayer GB 8/10/10Packed/12/12Packed, in-camera converted YUV422_YUYV_Packed, YUV 422 Packed, RGB 8 and BGR 8, plus Mono 8/10/12. USB3.0 (USB2.0 compatible) carries both data and power, with a typical 2.3 W at 5 VDC; a 9 to 24 VDC external input is also provided. The 6-pin P7 connector offers Line 0 (opto-isolated input), Line 1 (opto-isolated output) and Line 2 (bi-directional), the 29 mm × 29 mm × 30 mm C-mount body of about 80 g is IP40 rated, and USB3 Vision / GenICam compliance simplifies integration with standards-based software.

Where it is used
Color 20 MP frames at 19.2 fps open the door to color checks where the product passes on the belt without stopping: hue and barcode/label integrity on package printing, tablet color and fill verification in pharmaceutical blisters, size-and-color grading of agricultural produce. In PC-adjacent setups such as benchtop digitizing of documents and artwork, the driver simplicity of USB is a reason to choose it. Surface and cap color matching on cosmetics and consumer goods likewise benefit from the sensor’s dynamic range.
