HIKROBOT MV-CS060-10GC-PRO — Area Scan Cameras

When color and speed are needed in one camera, the MV-CS060-10GC-PRO steps in as the PRO edition of the 6 MP color GigE option with the Sony® IMX178: 30.7 fps at 3072 × 2048 in image compression mode, 19.1 fps without compression. The 1/1.8″ rolling shutter CMOS sensor with 2.4 μm pixels provides a 41.3 dB SNR, and output is available as Bayer RG 8/10/10p/12/12p, YUV422 and RGB 8 / BGR 8. It is the color model in the CS series small and medium resolution family equipped with a noise reduction function.
The camera runs over Gigabit Ethernet, is compatible with Fast Ethernet networks and needs no additional repeater for distances up to 100 meters. For trigger and status signals, the 6-pin Hirose connector provides Line 0 (opto-isolated input), Line 1 (opto-isolated output) and Line 2 (bi-directional non-isolated I/O); power is supplied as 9–24 VDC or via PoE, with typical consumption of 2.5 W at 12 VDC. The 29 × 29 × 42 mm, approximately 100 g C-mount housing operates from –30 °C to 60 °C, and GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam compliance allows use with standards-based third-party software.

Where it is used
Color 6 MP imaging at 30.7 fps in compression mode suits label and print quality inspection on fast packaging lines, verification of color-coded pharmaceutical blisters, and color-based separation by material type in recycling plants. Noise reduction preserves the consistency of color classification while short exposures suppress motion blur. For slower measurement and cosmetic surface inspection jobs, the standard 19.1 fps mode is sufficient.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
