The MV-CS050-10UC is a 5 MP color area-scan camera from HIKROBOT’s CS series of small and medium resolution cameras, built around the 2/3″ Sony IMX264 global-shutter CMOS with 3.45 μm pixels. At full 2448 × 2048 resolution it delivers 60 fps in Bayer RG 8, with 40 dB SNR and 71 dB dynamic range. Its second-generation design is tuned for lower power consumption and adds LSC, Sequencer and Super Palette functions for color-critical imaging.
Data and power travel over a single USB3.0 link (USB2.0 compatible), with typical consumption of 2.8 W at 5 VDC from the bus; a 9–24 VDC input on the 6-pin P7 connector is available where separate power is preferred. The same connector carries one opto-isolated input (Line 0), one opto-isolated output (Line 1) and a bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2), supporting hardware trigger, software trigger and free-run operation. The 29 × 29 × 30 mm C-mount housing (approx. 80 g) has mounting holes on four sides, and the camera complies with USB3 Vision and GenICam for use with standards-based third-party software.

Where it is used
The combination of 5 MP color imaging and 60 fps suits print and label verification, packaging color checks and sorting tasks where hue distinguishes good parts from bad. Its UltraShort exposure mode (down to 1 μs) helps freeze motion on moving lines, and the compact USB form factor makes it a natural fit for benchtop inspection stations and desktop-PC-based systems.
