The color member of the second-generation GigE family with the Stacked BSI sensor, the MV-CS020-60GC produces 60.3 fps at 1624 × 1240 in Bayer GB 8. Its 1/2.53-inch global shutter CMOS with 3.45 μm pixels offers 44.1 dB SNR and 66.6 dB dynamic range, and in-camera CCM (color correction matrix) support turns raw Bayer data into accurate colors. With typical consumption of about 1.9 W at 12 VDC it stands out for low heat generation among the 2 MP GigE color models of the CS series.
Output formats range from Bayer GB 8/10/12 to YUV422 and RGB 8 / BGR 8, with white balance, LUT and Gamma adjustable automatically or manually. The Gigabit Ethernet link provides repeater-free transmission up to 100 metres and PoE power; a 9–24 VDC external input is also present. The 6-pin P7 connector offers one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bi-directional non-isolated line. The 29 × 29 × 42 mm body with four-sided mounting holes eases fitting into existing fixtures, and GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam compliance works directly with standards-based third-party software.

Where it is used
Applications that need color discrimination but place the camera at a remote point — wide sorting lines, wire and connector color-code checks, packaging and label print verification — are where this model excels. Two-megapixel color gives enough resolution for ripeness and shade grading of food and agricultural produce and for tablet color checks in pharmaceutical blisters. PoE power simplifies installations where many color cameras are run from a single PoE switch.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
