The MV-CS020-10UC represents the 2 MP color option in the USB3.0 branch of the CS series. Its Sony IMX430 global shutter CMOS sensor delivers 90 fps at 1624 × 1240 in Bayer RG 8, carrying the second-generation design’s efficient power profile into color imaging with 43.7 dB SNR and 71.5 dB dynamic range. The frame rate is markedly higher than the GigE color version of the same sensor, which lets color-based decisions be taken on fast stations.
The color model provides white balance, CCM (color correction matrix), Super Palette and Super Bayer in-camera, and output can be selected among Bayer RG 8/10/12, YUV422 and RGB 8 / BGR 8. The USB 3.0 port carries both data and power (typically 2.4 W at 5 VDC), is backward compatible with USB 2.0, and a 9–24 VDC external supply input is also present. In the 29 × 29 × 30 mm, roughly 80 g housing, the P7 connector offers one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bi-directional I/O line; the camera complies with USB3 Vision and GenICam.

Where it is used
High-frame-rate color imaging suits color-based separation on fast sorting conveyors, verifying cap and label colors, and SKU recognition in mixed product flows. In-camera white balance and CCM make color consistency easier in print and packaging checks under LED lighting. The USB-powered compact body fits desktop inspection stations tied to a single PC as well as training and R&D set-ups.
