HIKROBOT MV-CA023-10UC — Area Scan Cameras

The MV-CA023-10UC is the color counterpart to UM, sharing the same body, 56 g weight and typ. 2.5 W power draw, with a frame rate of 40 fps — just 1 fps behind the mono version. The IMX249 sensor and 1920×1200 resolution carry over unchanged. HIKROBOT has marked this model as Delisting Preparation.
Power and I/O are identical to UM: typ. 2.5 W @5 VDC from the USB3.0 bus, an optional 12 VDC external supply, and the same three I/O lines via the 6-pin Hirose connector. The pixel-format list covers Bayer RG 8/10/12, YUV422 and RGB/BGR 8. It is USB3 Vision/GenICam compliant, secures its cable with M2 screws, and supports hardware triggering, software triggering and free-run mode.

Where it is used
This model fits applications that need both a light body and color output — color-based sorting on moving stations, or print/label checks in compact assembly cells. At 40 fps it comfortably handles moderate-speed color inspection work.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
