HIKROBOT MV-CA004-10GC — Area Scan Cameras

The MV-CA004-10GC brings the IMX287 sensor’s color variant to the CA series, matching the 312.9 fps class at 720×540. Through its Bayer color filter it offers multiple pixel formats such as RGB8 and YUV422, while SNR (41 dB) and dynamic range (74 dB) stay level with its mono sibling. HIKROBOT has likewise marked this model as Delisting Preparation.
The Bayer GR color pattern and RGB8/YUV422/YUV422_YUYV output formats let color data be processed directly in the MVS client or third-party software, supported by auto white balance, gain and exposure adjustment. The 9–24 VDC power range and PoE come with the same 6-pin Hirose I/O set (one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output, one bi-directional line). GigE Vision V1.2/GenICam compliance and up to 128 MB of local memory give it the same integration ease as the mono version.

Where it is used
Color imaging makes this model suited to print and label inspection, packaging color-consistency checks, and color-based product sorting. Speeds up to 312.9 fps together with the 74 dB dynamic range also support color grading under variable lighting. GigE’s 100 m reach makes it easy to mount the camera away from the control cabinet along the line.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
