HIKROBOT MV-CA023-10GM — Area Scan Cameras
2.3 MP, Sony IMX249, GigE, Mono, 41 fps

The MV-CA023-10GM runs Sony’s IMX249 global-shutter sensor at 1920×1200 over Gigabit Ethernet. Its 5.86 μm pixel size and 1/1.2″ optical format are the largest of the ten models here, giving it the strongest per-pixel light-gathering in the family. The mono output reaches 41 fps. HIKROBOT has marked this model as Delisting Preparation.
Power comes via PoE at 12 VDC, with the same 6-pin Hirose I/O layout (one opto-isolated input, one output, one bi-directional line) and both hardware and software triggering. The GigE link runs up to 100 m without a relay, and up to 128 MB of local memory buffers burst transfers. It complies with GigE Vision V2.0 / GenICam, and shares the C-mount, 29×29×42 mm, 68 g form factor with the other GigE models in this batch.

Where it is used
The large pixel and sensor size help preserve image quality in dim lighting or with a stopped-down lens, making this camera a candidate for general assembly-line inspection, code reading and robot guidance at moderate speeds where light is limited. The mono output suits contrast- and edge-based measurement tasks.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
