TELEMECANIQUE XX630A1NCM12 — Diffuse Ultrasonic Sensors

Telemecanique XX630A1NCM12 is a diffuse ultrasonic sensor of the XX6 series in the XX range, with a plastic M30 body. Its nominal sensing distance is 1 m, adjustable with the teach pushbutton; the sensing range is 0.051–0.991 m and the blind zone 0–51 mm. With a 200 kHz transmission frequency and 10° beam angle it offers 0.9 % repeat accuracy and a maximum differential travel of 2.5 mm. It detects a Ø1.6 mm cylinder at 0.635 m and tolerates a ±7° object deviation. It has no synchronisation mode; face-to-face sensors need a spacing greater than 4 × Sn.

The 4-wire NPN 1 NO + 1 NC output switches up to 100 mA with overload and short-circuit protection; maximum voltage drop is 1 V, switching frequency up to 10 Hz. First power-up delay is at most 720 ms, response delay 20 ms. The 12–24 V DC supply (10–28 V DC limits) is reverse-polarity protected and current consumption is 50 mA. With an ULTEM enclosure, silicone front face, M30 x 1.5 thread and M12 4-pin connector, it measures 35 × 35 × 85 mm and weighs 0.091 kg; it is rated IP67 and operates at 0 – +60 °C.
