The Telemecanique XT132B1FAL2 is a capacitive proximity sensor from the XT1 series with a Ø32 mm plain (unthreaded) cylindrical body. The enclosure is nickel-plated brass and can be flush mounted in metal. According to the manufacturer it detects insulated or conductive materials. The nominal sensing distance is 15 mm and the assured operating distance (Sa) is 0–11 mm; the sensing distance is set by potentiometer within an adjustment zone of 0–20 mm. The data sheet drawing states that a mounting accessory is included.
The 2-wire AC output is normally open (1 NO); the supply is 24–240 V AC, 50–60 Hz (limits 20–264 V AC). Switching frequency reaches 15 Hz; maximum switching current is 300 mA, voltage drop when closed is below 10 V, residual current when open is 5 mA and consumption is below 4 mA. Connection is by a 2 m PVC cable; a yellow LED shows the output state. Protection is IP67 and operating temperature is -25 °C to +70 °C. Body length is 80 mm, net weight 0.4 kg.
