The Omron G7SA is a slim relay family with forcibly guided contacts (EN 61810-3, certified by VDE). Four-pole and six-pole models are available in various contact combinations. Used as part of an interlocking circuit, it helps detect hazardous machine status, and it supports CE marking of machinery. Reinforced insulation is provided between inputs and outputs and between some poles of different polarity. The relay has PCB terminals, so it can be soldered directly to a PCB or used with P7SA sockets ordered separately. The terminal arrangement simplifies PCB pattern design.

Contacts are rated 250 V AC 6 A and 30 V DC 6 A resistive; for inductive loads AC15 is 240 V AC 2 A and DC13 24 V DC 1 A. The contact material is Au plating + Ag alloy. Operating and release times are 20 ms max., and the response time is 10 ms max. Mechanical durability is 10,000,000 operations min. and electrical durability 100,000 operations min. at rated load. Models with 12 to 48 V DC coils operate from −40 to 85 °C. P7SA socket options include screw, Push-In Plus and back-mounting PCB terminals; sockets with LED indicator and diode are for 24 V DC.
