The MV-CA013-A0GC is a GigE area-scan camera built around a 1280 × 1024 global-shutter CMOS sensor delivering color output. With a 4.8 μm pixel size on a 1/2″ sensor it reaches up to 92.8 fps, while its 40.6 dB SNR and 54 dB dynamic range define its place as the color GigE entry of the 1.3 MP CA-series line. In HIKROBOT’s catalog this model currently carries ‘Delisting Preparation’ status, so availability should be checked against current stock.
The Gigabit Ethernet interface supports cable runs of up to 100 meters without a repeater and stays backward-compatible with Fast Ethernet. A single 6-pin Hirose connector carries 9-24 VDC or PoE power alongside its I/O set – one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated line. Compliance with GigE Vision V2.0 and the GenICam standard lets it work directly with HIKROBOT’s MVS client and compatible third-party vision software.

Where it is used
Its 92.8 fps ceiling and color output suit mid-speed lines doing color- or code-based sorting and print/label inspection. The 1/2″ sensor and 1.3 MP resolution give enough detail for presence and position checks on small-to-medium parts. Single-cable PoE mounting also simplifies deploying multiple GigE cameras along one line.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
