HIKROBOT MV-CH2450-10YC-M72-TF — Area Scan Cameras
245 MP, Sony IMX811, CoaXPress, Color, TEC-cooled with fan, 12.4 fps

The MV-CH2450-10YC-M72-TF shares the same Sony IMX811 rolling-shutter CMOS sensor and 19200 × 12800 resolution as its mono sibling, the MV-CH2450-10YM-M72-TF, but adds a Bayer RG color filter array. It reaches 12.4 fps full-frame in Bayer RG 8 format, holding performance close to the mono model with 44.2 dB SNR and 71.8 dB dynamic range. Broad pixel-format support — Mono 8/10/12/16, Bayer RG 8/10/12/16 and RGB 8 — gives it flexibility across different processing pipelines.
As with the mono 245 MP model, data transfer runs over a CoaXPress link via an HD-BNC connector, and the 12-pin P10 connector provides 24 VDC power together with one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output, one bidirectional non-isolated I/O and an RS-232 line. Due to the color sensor’s processing load, power draw is slightly higher than the mono version: typ. 20.6 W without cooling and typ. 33.2 W in fan-assisted TEC mode. It shares the same CoaXPress/GenlCam compatibility, M72×0.75 lens mount and compact 100×100×82 mm housing.

Where it is used
Color capture at 245 MP suits large-format print and label inspection, textile surface inspection, and quality-control processes where color differentiation is critical. Long-exposure support also makes it viable for static-scene applications such as artwork digitization or archival imaging, where color accuracy must hold even in low light. As with its mono sibling, the rolling-shutter design points it toward fixed or slow-moving inspection stations rather than fast lines.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
