The color representative of the 65 MP class, the MV-CH650-90TC-M58S-NF pulls 9344 × 7000 Bayer BG 8 frames at 17.2 fps from a Gpixel GMAX3265 global shutter sensor. The 29.9 mm × 22.4 mm sensor area and 3.2 μm × 3.2 μm pixels operate at 40 dB SNR and 66 dB dynamic range. Beyond Bayer, YUV422, RGB 8 and BGR 8 outputs plus a 1.25× to 6× gain range add flexibility to the color processing chain.
The 65 MP color stream passes through a 10 GigE interface that supports relay-free transmission up to 100 meters and is compatible with Gigabit Ethernet. Typical consumption is 11.6 W at 12 VDC; the 9–24 VDC supply, opto-isolated input, opto-isolated output, bi-directional I/O and RS-232 all come through the same 12-pin P10 connector. The fan-cooled M58 body measures 74 mm × 74 mm × 78.8 mm and weighs about 550 g; a 0–50 °C working range and GigE Vision V2.0 / GenICam compliance simplify field integration.

Where it is used
The 9344-pixel width is an asset for detecting pattern shift and hue deviation in a single frame on wide-format color prints, wallpaper and laminate decor sheets. Assembly verification of color-coded wire harnesses and multi-component electronic modules captures differences a monochrome camera could not separate. Color defect classification on ceramic, glass and composite panel surfaces is another suitable use.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
