The color 50 MP CH series camera MV-CH500-90TC-M58S-NF V2 produces 7008 × 7000 frames in Bayer BG 8 at 23.3 fps. The Gpixel GMAX global shutter sensor’s 3.2 μm × 3.2 μm pixels and 22.4 mm × 22.4 mm area combine with 40 dB SNR and 65 dB dynamic range. White balance and exposure can be set automatically, and Bayer BG, YUV422, RGB 8 and BGR 8 are available as output formats.
The full-frame color stream uses 10 GigE bandwidth; the network side is compatible with Gigabit Ethernet, and the GigE Vision V2.0 / GenICam standards allow operation with third-party software. Gain, Gamma correction and LUT are adjusted manually. The 12-pin P10 connector carries the 9–24 VDC supply (typ. 13.2 W at 12 VDC), the opto-isolated input and output, the bi-directional I/O and RS-232; the 74 mm × 74 mm × 78.8 mm fan-cooled M58 body can be stored between –30 and 80 °C.

Where it is used
Color-based sorting on wide conveyors, packaging print verification on fast lines and inspection of multi-color label sheets run at 23.3 fps without losing takt time. The global shutter captures edge and pattern geometry of moving colored products without distortion. Surface color and defect detection on cosmetics, food packaging and consumer electronics finishes are further suitable areas.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
