Completing the 31 MP GigE group of the CH series, the MV-CH310-10GC-F-NF joins the color Sony IMX342 global shutter sensor with an F-mount interface and a 46.5 mm flange back length. Its 6464 × 4852 resolution and 3.45 μm × 3.45 μm pixels span a 22.3 mm × 16.7 mm sensor area, delivering 3.9 fps in Bayer RG 8 with 40 dB SNR and 73 dB dynamic range. Exposure is adjustable from 36 μs to 10 s in standard mode and 3 μs to 33 μs in UltraShort mode, gain from 0 dB to 24 dB; the fan-cooled body measures 74 mm × 74 mm × 80.1 mm and weighs about 600 g.
The F-mount body uses the same Gigabit Ethernet backbone: a 1000 Mbit/s link, Fast Ethernet compatibility and a 100-meter distance that needs no relay. For color output it offers YUV422Packed, YUV422_YUYV_Packed, RGB 8 and BGR 8 in addition to Bayer RG 8/10/10Packed/12/12Packed; the 12-pin P10 connector carries the 9 VDC to 24 VDC supply (typically 9 W), the Line 0 opto-isolated input, the Line 1 opto-isolated output, the Line 2 bi-directional I/O and RS-232. Automatic/manual control of gain and exposure, LUT and Gamma correction, panel mounting holes and GigE Vision V2.0 plus GenICam support apply to this model as well.

Where it is used
The combination of 31 MP color and F-mount is used in static-capture applications where documenting a wide area in accurate color comes first: high-resolution recording of artwork and fabric patterns, color and registration checks in large-format print and signage production, tone matching on mosaic and ceramic tile panels. With the product at rest 3.9 fps is sufficient, and exposures up to 10 seconds together with gain up to 24 dB give flexibility on large scenes where lighting is limited.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
