The MV-CH310-10GM-F-NF is the CH series GigE model that offers the 31 MP Sony IMX342 monochrome camera with an F-mount lens interface; its 46.5 mm flange back length lets users with an existing F-mount optics inventory reuse their lenses. The global shutter CMOS sensor combines 6464 × 4852 resolution, 3.45 μm × 3.45 μm pixels and a 22.3 mm × 16.7 mm active area to deliver 40 dB SNR and 73 dB dynamic range, with gain from 0 dB to 24 dB. It produces 3.9 fps at full resolution in Mono 8; because of the F-mount adaptation the body is 74 mm × 74 mm × 80.1 mm and about 600 g, slightly longer and heavier than its M58 sibling.
Images are transferred over Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbit/s), retaining Fast Ethernet (100 Mbit/s) compatibility and a 100-meter transmission distance without a relay. Power and signals meet at the 12-pin P10 connector: 9 VDC to 24 VDC input (typically 9 W at 12 VDC), opto-isolated input Line 0, opto-isolated output Line 1, bi-directional non-isolated Line 2 and one RS-232 line. Mounting holes on the panels of the fan-cooled body allow flexible placement; gain and exposure are controlled automatically or manually, LUT and Gamma correction are available, and GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam compliance come as standard.

Where it is used
The F-mount option targets measurement and inspection projects that want to pair the 22.3 mm × 16.7 mm sensor, which needs a large image circle, with F-type lenses: measurement of large castings and mold parts, defect detection on wide glass and sheet surfaces, high-resolution monochrome capture for archive and technical-document digitization. 3.9 fps and standard exposures up to 2 seconds suit detailed recording of motionless objects under controlled lighting.
