For users who want color imagery straight over USB, the MV-CH250-90VC combines a 1.1-inch Gpixel GMAX0505 global shutter sensor with 5120 × 5120 resolution and a 2.5 μm pixel pitch. Delivering 30 fps in Bayer BG 8 with 40 dB SNR and 65 dB dynamic range, it is the color representative of the 25 MP class within the CH series USB3.0 family. Gain is adjustable from 2.0× to 5.0×, exposure from 2 μs to 8 μs in UltraShort mode and 9 μs to 10 s in standard mode.
Output is not limited to Bayer BG 8/10/12 (including packed variants): YUV422Packed, YUV422_YUYV_Packed, RGB 8 and BGR 8 can be pulled directly from the camera, and Mono 8/10/12 remains selectable. The dual USB 3.0 interfaces carry the data and can also power the unit (typically 5.5 W at 5 VDC), with USB 2.0 compatibility and a 9 VDC to 24 VDC external supply option retained. The 6-pin P7 connector with an opto-isolated input on Line 0, an opto-isolated output on Line 1 and a bi-directional I/O on Line 2, together with hardware/software trigger and free-run modes, is packed into a 29 mm × 44 mm × 59 mm housing that supports the GenICam standard.

Where it is used
Tasks that need 25 MP detail together with color information are this model’s territory: color-shift and misprint checks on multi-color packaging and label print, pattern and stain detection on textile and leather surfaces, post-placement verification of color-coded components. The compact USB design is favored in small stations where several cameras share one PC and in in-house quality-control rigs where 30 fps is sufficient.
