HIKROBOT MV-CH250-90TM-M58S-NF — Area Scan Cameras
25 MP, Gpixel GMAX0505, 10GigE, Mono, 41.5 fps, M58

The MV-CH250-90TM-M58S-NF offers the 10GigE monochrome 25 MP camera with an M58×0.75 thread and 11.48 mm flange back length instead of C-mount, intended for direct fitting of large-diameter optics that illuminate the 1.1-inch sensor efficiently edge to edge. This fan-cooled member of the CH series high-resolution family uses the Gpixel GMAX0505 global shutter CMOS at 5120 × 5120 pixels of 2.5 μm × 2.5 μm to deliver 41.5 fps in Mono 8. It shares 36 dB SNR, 63 dB dynamic range, 2.0x to 5.0x gain and both the 3 μs to 8 μs UltraShort and 9 μs to 10 s standard exposure modes with its C-mount sibling.
The M58 mount brings the housing weight down to about 550 g while the outer dimensions of 74 mm × 74 mm × 78.8 mm and the IP40 rating stay the same. 10 Gigabit Ethernet provides transmission up to 100 meters and is backward compatible with Gigabit Ethernet; the camera runs on 9 VDC to 24 VDC and draws a typical 9.7 W at 12 VDC. The 12-pin P10 connector gathers an opto-isolated input (Line 0), an opto-isolated output (Line 1), a bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2) and an RS-232 port on one body; exposure, gain, LUT and Gamma are set through GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam from MVS or third-party software, and mounting holes on the panels allow flexible placement.

Where it is used
The M58 thread is the choice for wide-field measurement systems that work with large-diameter precision or telecentric optics: full-frame defect scanning of display panels and glass substrates, dimensional checks of large sheet-metal or cast parts on lines running at 41.5 fps, and surface verification after high-resolution printing or laser processing. The UltraShort exposure mode allows crisp frames on fast-moving reflective surfaces under strobe lighting. The fan-cooled housing is intended for continuous duty in enclosed stations where the camera runs at full speed all shift long.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
