HIKROBOT MV-CH250-90TM-C-NF — Area Scan Cameras
25 MP, Gpixel GMAX0505, 10GigE, Mono, 41.5 fps

The MV-CH250-90TM-C-NF takes the same 25 MP sensor to the top of the speed range: it is the 10GigE branch of the CH series high-resolution family, delivered as a fan-cooled, C-mount, monochrome camera. Here the 5120 × 5120 frame of the 1.1-inch Gpixel GMAX0505 global shutter CMOS streams at 41.5 fps in Mono 8, with 36 dB SNR and 63 dB dynamic range unchanged. Exposure control is a second differentiator: alongside the standard 9 μs to 10 s mode there is an UltraShort mode from 3 μs to 8 μs for freezing motion under very brief light pulses, and gain is adjustable from 2.0x to 5.0x.
The 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface provides a maximum transmission distance of 100 meters and falls back to Gigabit Ethernet, so the camera can be commissioned on an existing GigE network and unlocked to its full 41.5 fps once the link is upgraded. A 12-pin P10 connector consolidates power and I/O: an opto-isolated input (Line 0), an opto-isolated output (Line 1), a bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2) and, in addition, an RS-232 port. Power is 9 VDC to 24 VDC at a typical 9.7 W at 12 VDC; the fan-cooled 74 mm × 74 mm × 78.8 mm housing weighs about 590 g, is rated IP40 and works from 0 °C to 50 °C, with mounting holes on the panels. Exposure, gain, LUT and Gamma are all exposed through GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam to MVS and third-party software.

Where it is used
25 MP at 41.5 fps means high resolution is no longer confined to static stations: surface-defect scanning on continuously moving glass, film or metal strip, full-frame measurement of large flat parts on fast conveyors, and high-tempo display panel or wafer inspection are the intended territory. The UltraShort exposure mode helps obtain crisp frames with strobed lighting on products moving tens of meters per minute or faster. The RS-232 port adds a direct link for cells where a lighting controller or motion axis communicates over serial.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
