The MV-CH250-25TM-F-NF is the monochrome model in the 25 MP PYTHON25K 10GigE family that differs by its F-mount lens connection; the 46.5 mm flange back length allows an existing F-mount lens inventory to be used directly. The OnSemi PYTHON25K global shutter CMOS sensor transmits 5120 × 5120 at 40 fps in Mono 8, retaining the 4.5 μm pixels, 41 dB SNR, 58 dB dynamic range, 0–15 dB gain and 45 μs to 10 s exposure. The fan-equipped F-mount body measures 74 × 74 × 78.7 mm and weighs about 600 g.
The 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface offers 100 m reach without a relay and works with Gigabit Ethernet. The 12-pin P10 connector provides 9–24 VDC power (typically 11.5 W at 24 VDC), an opto-isolated input (Line 0), an opto-isolated output (Line 1), a bi-directional line (Line 2) and RS-232. Gain and exposure have automatic or manual adjustment, LUT and Gamma correction manual adjustment; Mono 8/10/10Packed/12/12Packed formats are supported. The IP40 body is GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam compliant and is specified for 0–50 °C operation.

Where it is used
The F-mount option is chosen where a wide field of view is set up with lenses suited to the large sensor area: defect inspection of large sheets and glass surfaces, wide-area dimensional measurement, and tray-based inspection where several parts are checked in one frame. 40 fps allows full-resolution operation on medium-paced lines, and 10GigE carries that data volume over standard network cabling for up to 100 m.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
