The color member of the dual-USB 3.0 CH camera line, the MV-CH120-60VC records 60.2 fps in Bayer GB 8 from a 4096 × 3000 pixel, 1.1-inch Stacked BSI global shutter sensor. A 75.7 dB dynamic range is notable for a color camera; it can switch between high full well capacity (0 dB to 21.5 dB) and high sensitivity (0 dB to 24 dB) gain modes, and SNR is 42.1 dB. Alongside Bayer output, YUV422Packed, YUV422_YUYV_Packed, RGB 8 and BGR 8 as well as Mono 8/10/12 can be selected, so a single-channel image is available when needed.
The camera attaches to the host with two USB 3.0 cables; the link is compatible with USB 2.0, and the dual USB 3.0 interfaces supply the typical 3.7 W at 5 VDC, with 9 VDC to 24 VDC external power also supported. Trigger and signal lines are gathered on the 6-pin P7 connector: Line 0 opto-isolated input, Line 1 opto-isolated output, Line 2 bi-directional non-isolated. A new hardware platform optimises logical resources to reduce power consumption, and image parameters including white balance, LUT, Gamma and Sequencer are set automatically or manually. The 29 mm × 44 mm × 59 mm body of about 100 g has mounting holes on top and bottom panels and follows the USB3 Vision and GenICam standards.

Where it is used
In packaging and pharmaceutical blister inspection where glossy foil, glass and dark plastic appear together, the wide dynamic range captures color deviations reliably. It forms a compact single-PC solution for sorting cells running close to 60 fps where cosmetics or food items are separated by shade. Thanks to the mono output formats, the same camera can also serve dimensional checks that need no color.
