The MV-CH120-40XM-M58S-NN is the speed-oriented 12 MP monochrome model in the CH series CoaXPress line, reaching 188 fps at full 4096 × 3072 resolution. Images come from the AMS CMV12000 global shutter CMOS sensor, a 22.5 mm × 16.9 mm device with 5.5 μm pixels, 39.5 dB SNR and 55.2 dB dynamic range, with gain selectable in 1.0×, 2.0×, 3.0× and 4.0× steps. Its fanless build, M58 lens mount and CXP-6 data path are meant for systems that need high frame rates without sacrificing resolution.
Data leaves the camera over a CoaXPress interface with DIN connectors at CXP-6 rate; supply is 12–24 VDC, and the CXP-1 and CXP-2 links support PoCXP so power can ride on the coax, with a typical draw of 11.6 W at 12 VDC. The 12-pin P10 connector provides an opto-isolated input (Line 0) and output (Line 1), a bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2) and an RS-232 port, and the camera supports LSC sequencer polling. Lens mount is M58×0.75 with an 11.48 mm flange back; the 60 × 60 × 59 mm, 269 g fanless body is rated for 0–30 °C operation, so ambient temperature needs to be part of the system design. It complies with the CoaXPress protocol and GenICam and carries CE, RoHS, KC and UL certification.

Where it is used
Full 12 MP frames at 188 fps give both the field and the speed needed to catch surface defects on fast-moving webs and roll-to-roll processes such as foil, film and electrode coating. Motion analysis of high-speed pick-and-place heads, imaging of impact or spray events and similar tasks combine the large sensor area with exposure down to 20 μs. It also fits glass, display panel and printed circuit production where full-resolution inspection must run without slowing the line.
