The MV-CH120-10UM(TK) stands apart within the 12 MP CH family through its 128 GB onboard memory, combined with a USB 3.0 monochrome design. Its 1.1″ Sony® IMX304 global shutter CMOS sensor delivers 4096 × 3000 frames at 23.1 fps; alongside 40.2 dB SNR, a 72.2 dB dynamic range and a 0–20 dB gain span preserve detail in scenes that mix bright and dark regions. UltraShort exposure down to 1 μs freezes moving objects sharply.
Data travels over USB 3.0 with USB 2.0 compatibility, and the 128 GB onboard memory lets images be held on the camera before transfer to the host. A 6-pin Hirose connector carries the 12 VDC supply together with an opto-isolated input (Line 0), an opto-isolated output (Line 1) and a bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2); on USB 3.0 bus power the typical draw is 3.5 W. The 44 × 29 × 59 mm, roughly 100 g housing is rated IP30, works from 0 °C to 50 °C and complies with USB 3.0 Vision and GenICam.

Where it is used
Onboard memory comes into its own where the host cannot absorb the stream in real time or the camera has to capture on its own: high-resolution burst recording, documentation of intermittent processes, and accumulating images for later offline analysis. The 72.2 dB dynamic range holds contrast in difficult lighting, such as around weld seams or on matte markings against bright metal. Twelve-megapixel mono output at 23.1 fps suits measurement and surface defect analysis where per-frame quality matters more than throughput.
