The MV-CH120-10UC V5 is the color USB 3.0 model in the V5 generation of CH cameras, using the Sony® IMX304 (1.1″, 3.45 μm, global shutter) to produce 4096 × 3000 Bayer RG 8 frames at 30 fps. On-camera interpolation, white balance, CCM, Super Palette and Super Bayer processing are supported, so YUV422 or RGB 8 / BGR 8 images can be taken directly from the camera. Its 40.2 dB SNR, 70.4 dB dynamic range and 1 μs minimum exposure balance color accuracy against speed.
Power is supplied over USB 3.0 (typ. 2.4 W at 5 VDC) or from a 9–24 VDC external source, and a USB 2.0 connection is also possible. The P7 connector exposes Line 0/1/2 as one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bi-directional line; LSC, Sequencer and transfer passive mode are available. The 84 g, 29 × 29 × 30 mm body is rated IP40 with proper lens and cabling, operates from –10 °C to 50 °C and works with USB3 Vision / GenICam-based software.

Where it is used
Cosmetics and pharmaceutical packaging inspection, multi-layer print registration checks and wire-harness color sequence verification, where color discrimination and high detail are needed together, are natural fits for this model. Its 30 fps is enough to capture a full frame at every station on an indexed assembly line. The light, small body also suits arm-mounted use in robotic picking.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
