The MV-CH050-90Y1M-NN V2 is a 5 MP monochrome member of the CH high-resolution family built around the Gpixel GMAX3405 global-shutter CMOS sensor in 2/3-inch format, with 3.4 μm pixels and a 2448 × 2048 array. Its defining figure is speed: 164 fps at full resolution in Mono 8 over a single CXP-12 link, backed by 39.1 dB SNR and 60 dB dynamic range. The V2.0 designation appears in the HIKROBOT product name; the datasheet for this version lists a 0 °C to 50 °C working range and typical 2.8 W consumption.
Data leaves the camera through a CoaXPress Micro-BNC connector, so a CXP-12-capable frame grabber is part of the system, and PoCXP lets the same coaxial run carry power (a 9–24 VDC input is also accepted). The 6-pin P7 connector provides one opto-isolated input (Line 0), one opto-isolated output (Line 1) and a bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2) for triggering and strobe control, while exposure can be set to Off, Once or Continuous. The fanless 29 × 29 × 42 mm C-mount body weighs about 90 g and complies with the CoaXPress protocol and GenICam standard, so it integrates with third-party software built on those.

Where it is used
At 164 full-resolution frames per second, this camera suits high-throughput inspection where 5 MP detail must be captured without slowing the line: glass and display panel screening, high-speed pick-and-place verification and fast-moving web or sheet material. The 2 μs minimum exposure freezes motion on rapidly indexing parts, and the monochrome output is the right choice for edge measurement, surface defect detection and pattern matching on tooling and electronic components.
