The MV-CS013-80UC pairs color information with high speed in the small-resolution group of the CS series, as a second-generation USB3.0 camera. Its 1/2.7-inch global shutter CMOS sensor provides 1280 × 1024 pixels (4.0 μm × 4.0 μm) and reaches 240.4 fps at full resolution; the global shutter records moving objects without rolling distortion. It operates with 57 dB dynamic range, 38 dB SNR, 0–20 dB gain and a 30 μs to 1 s exposure range.
A single USB3.0 cable carries data and powers the camera (typically 1.3 W at 5 VDC), with USB2.0 host compatibility retained. For triggering and external power, the 6-pin P7 connector provides a 9–24 VDC input, one opto-isolated input (Line 0), one opto-isolated output (Line 1) and one bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2). Gain and exposure can be set automatically or manually, LUT and gamma correction manually; the 29 × 29 × 30 mm body at about 80 g fits tight machine interiors, and USB3 Vision plus GenICam support opens it to standards-based third-party software.

Where it is used
This model belongs where color and speed are needed together: verifying cable and connector color codes, matching label and cap colors on pharmaceutical and food packaging, color-based separation on fast lines. The global shutter allows capture without stopping the conveyor, and a reduced ROI transmits only the critical region to push throughput further. The USB-powered compact body suits space-constrained setups such as benchtop test rigs and robot-arm mounting.
