The MV-CS013-80GC is a 1.3 MP color GigE area-scan camera positioned in the small and medium resolution family of the HIKROBOT CS series. Its 1/2.7-inch global shutter CMOS sensor delivers 1280 × 1024 pixels at 4.0 μm × 4.0 μm and runs up to 89.9 fps at full resolution. With 38 dB SNR, 57 dB dynamic range, 0–20 dB gain and an exposure window of 31 μs to 1 s, the camera adapts to both well-lit and variable lighting conditions.
The Gigabit Ethernet link supports cable runs of up to 100 metres without a relay and remains backward compatible with Fast Ethernet (100 Mbit/s). A 6-pin P7 connector carries both power and I/O: one opto-isolated input (Line 0), one opto-isolated output (Line 1) and one bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2). Power comes from 9–24 VDC or PoE with a typical draw of only 1.3 W at 12 VDC; the 29 × 29 × 42 mm housing offers mounting holes on four sides and a C-mount, while GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam compliance allow direct integration with third-party software.

Where it is used
At 89.9 fps with 1.3 MP color output, the camera balances resolution and speed for color-based sorting on medium-speed lines, cap and label color verification, or print checks on packaging. PoE and the 100 m cable reach make it a natural choice for plant installations where the camera must sit far from the control cabinet on a single cable. An operating range of -30 °C to 60 °C extends its use to unheated warehouses and cold-chain areas.
