The Omron G9SE series are slim safety relay units for emergency stop, door and safety monitoring applications. A width of 17.5 or 22.5 mm saves space in the control panel. Safety input devices with contacts or PNP outputs, such as emergency stop switches, door switches and safety light curtains, can be connected. The series includes the G9SE-201 with two safety contacts, the G9SE-401 with four safety contacts, and the G9SE-221-T05 / T30 with two instantaneous and two OFF-delayed contacts. It supports EN ISO 13849-1 PL e / Category 4, IEC 62061 SIL 3 and the lift standards EN 81-1 / -2 / -20 / -50.
The terminals are on the front of the unit and use a Push-In Plus terminal block, so ferrules are simply inserted without tools. Front LEDs show the status of power, the two safety inputs and the instantaneous and OFF-delayed safety outputs; in case of an input wiring, output or setting error the relevant LED blinks to show where the error occurred. Contact outputs are rated 250 V AC 5 A and 30 V DC 5 A resistive, and the response time is 15 ms max. On OFF-delay models the delay is set in 16 steps: up to 5 s on T05 and up to 30 s on T30.
