TELEMECANIQUE XCSTE5312 — Safety Door Switches
Telemecanique XCSTE5312: solenoid-locking plastic safety interlock switch, 1 NC + 1 NO, 24 V solenoid, 500 N holding, M16 entry, IP67.

Status: In production
Brand: Telemecanique
Product: Solenoid-locking plastic safety interlock switch, 1 NC + 1 NO
Contacts: 1 NC + 1 NO; solenoid contact 1 NC
Interlocking principle: Locked when de-energised, unlocked at 24 V
Resistance to forcible actuator withdrawal: 500 N
Performance level (PL): Up to PL e, SIL 3, category 4 (with appropriate monitoring)
Degree of protection: IP67
The Telemecanique XCSTE5312 is a rectangular, double-insulated plastic safety interlock switch with solenoid locking. Its key-operated turret head works with a separate actuator, which is locked when the solenoid is de-energised and unlocked when it is energised. The solenoid is supplied at 24 V AC/DC and draws 10 VA. Safety contacts are 1 NC + 1 NO (slow-break, break before make) and the solenoid contact is 1 NC. The NC contact has positive opening (minimum 15 N). Resistance to forcible actuator withdrawal is 500 N. With appropriate monitoring it can reach category 4, PL e and SIL 3.
It has one M16 × 1.5 tapped cable entry. Rated operational current is 3 A at 120 V and 1.5 A at 240 V in AC-15, and 0.55 A at 125 V and 0.27 A at 250 V in DC-13; thermal current is 6 A. Rated insulation voltage is 500 V to IEC 60947-1. Mechanical durability is 1,000,000 cycles and B10d is 5,000,000. The PA polyamide body measures 110 × 94 × 33 mm and weighs 0.36 kg. Operating temperature is -25 to +60 °C, degree of protection IP67; UL and CSA certified.
