The MV-CU200-20UC is the 20 MP color camera on the USB3.0 side of the CU series, with a 1/1.8″ AR2020 rolling-shutter CMOS delivering 5120 × 3840 from 1.4 μm pixels. USB3.0 bandwidth lets it reach 18 fps at full resolution in Bayer GR 8, with 39 dB SNR, 61 dB dynamic range and 0 dB to 48 dB gain. Besides the Bayer formats, Mono 8/10/12 output can also be selected.
The camera connects over USB3.0 and is backward-compatible with USB2.0 ports; it can draw power straight from USB3.0 (typically 1.8 W at 5 VDC) or accept a 9 VDC to 24 VDC external supply. Triggering and strobe output use the opto-isolated input (Line 0), opto-isolated output (Line 1) and bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2) on the 6-pin P7 connector. The 29 mm × 29 mm × 30 mm footprint and 76 g weight are designed for installation in small spaces; the body is rated IP40, takes a C-mount lens and complies with USB3 Vision and GenICam.

Where it is used
The 20 MP color / 18 fps combination stands out in benchtop and in-cell setups where the short reach of a USB cable is not a constraint: color-coded component and silkscreen inspection on electronic boards, print-quality checks on cosmetic and food packaging, and laboratory or microscopy imaging. In compact stations where the image stream is processed on a PC next to the camera, it keeps things simple with power and data on one cable. Because of the rolling shutter, capture should be timed to moments when motion stops or slows.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
