HIKROBOT MV-CU013-A0GC V2 — Area Scan Cameras

For applications that need color from a compact GigE camera, MV-CU013-A0GC V2 offers 1280 × 1024 Bayer GB output from a 1/2″ global-shutter CMOS with 4.8 μm pixels, rated at up to 90.2 fps in Bayer GB 8. Its exposure range starts at 11 μs and runs to 10 s, gain covers 0–16 dB, and image quality figures are 40.6 dB SNR and 54 dB dynamic range. Within the value-priced CU family it is the color GigE option whose data sheet also lists an 80 °C upper storage temperature.
Connection is 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet with 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet compatibility, good for 100 m of cable without a relay, and the 6-pin P7 connector combines 9–24 VDC power input (PoE optional) with Line 0 opto-isolated input, Line 1 opto-isolated output and Line 2 non-isolated bidirectional I/O. Supported acquisition modes are hardware trigger, software trigger and free run; gain and exposure can be left on auto or set manually. The camera measures 29 × 29 × 42 mm, weighs about 100 g, takes C-mount lenses, is rated IP30 once a lens is fitted, draws a typical 1.8 W at 12 VDC and speaks GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam.

Where it is used
Bottling and closure lines use a camera like this to confirm that cap color matches the product, that tamper bands are the right shade, and that labels are the correct variant. In electronics it distinguishes color-coded components, resistor bands or connector keys on boards passing at line speed, and in textiles or plastics it spots off-tone batches. With 90 fps available, several inspection views per product are possible even on fast fillers.
