HIKROBOT MV-CU060-60GM V2 — Area Scan Cameras
6 MP, BSI CMOS, GigE, Mono, 19 fps

With a pixel size as small as 2 μm × 2 μm, the MV-CU060-60GM V2 delivers monochrome 3200 × 1944 images from a 1/2.4″ BSI CMOS rolling-shutter sensor and reaches 19 fps in Mono 8. Positioned in the cost-effective GigE family of the CU series, it combines 33.8 dB SNR and 64 dB dynamic range with a 0–24 dB gain range, and its 52 μs to 10 s exposure covers both short and long exposure scenarios. Storage temperature is –30 °C to 80 °C and working temperature 0 °C to 50 °C.
On the cabling side, Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbit/s) with Fast Ethernet (100 Mbit/s) compatibility and 100 m repeater-free reach make it easy to place the camera far from the control cabinet; 9–24 VDC is supplied through the P7 connector or optional PoE is used, with typical consumption of 1.6 W at 12 VDC. The same 6-pin connector carries Line 0 (opto-isolated input), Line 1 (opto-isolated output) and Line 2 (bi-directional non-isolated I/O). The compact 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm C-mount body weighs about 100 g; automatic and manual adjustment is offered for gain and exposure, manual adjustment for LUT and Gamma, and GigE Vision V2.0 / GenICam compliance brings third-party software support.

Where it is used
This mono model is an economical answer for jobs that need moderate detail across a wide, horizontal field of view: edge and width monitoring on extrusion profile and pipe lines, paper and cardboard cutting checks, and counting parts in trays with detection of empty pockets. Exposure up to 10 s together with manual Gamma/LUT adjustment helps bring out detail on low-contrast surfaces, for instance embossed text on light-colored plastic or paper. The 19 fps rate matches product flows that advance continuously on a conveyor without demanding high speed.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
